Connect Squarespace to NitroMule

Connect Squarespace Commerce with a Developer API key so shippable pending orders import into NitroMule. Rate shop, buy labels from the order, and push tracking + carrier + service back as a Squarespace fulfillment — the same core loop as ShipStation’s Squarespace connection.
Note
ShipStation/Shippo use Squarespace Extensions (OAuth). Staging/local can use site API keys. An Extension OAuth install is planned before enabling Connect on production.
Requirements
- A NitroMule account on a plan that includes store connections (Business)
- Squarespace Commerce Advanced (Developer API Keys with Orders)
- Orders API key with read and write
- A default ship-from address in NitroMule

What imports (ShipStation-aligned)
- Physical products only
- Variant options and product form answers (buyer notes)
- Requested shipping method, payment method, internal notes
- Customer email and ship-to address
Connect
- Open Stores in NitroMule → Squarespace → Connect.
- Paste your API key, then Connect.
- Optionally set Import pick-up orders or Email customer when fulfilled, then Save settings.
- Select Sync (or open Orders — NitroMule auto-syncs if the last sync was more than a few minutes ago).

Important
Create labels from the imported order, not as a one-off Get Label shipment, so tracking can write back to Squarespace.
Troubleshooting
- Connect disabled / Coming Soon: Production needs
NM_SQUARESPACE_STORES_ENABLED=1(and Extension OAuth before go-live). - No orders after Sync: Confirm the order is paid or authorized, pending fulfillment, physical, and not pickup (unless pickup import is on).
- Tracking not in Squarespace: Open the order’s Squarespace details panel for any write-back error; tracking still exists in NitroMule.
