Connect your Etsy shop to NitroMule

Connect Etsy so paid, unshipped orders import into NitroMule. Rate shop UPS, USPS, and FedEx, create labels from the order, and push tracking back to buyers on Etsy.
Etsy integration requirements
Before you connect:
- A NitroMule account on a plan that includes store connections (Business)
- An active Etsy shop you can authorize
- A default ship-from address saved in NitroMule
- A browser that can complete Etsy’s OAuth consent screen (allow pop-ups for nitromule.com if needed)
Note
NitroMule imports receipts that are paid and not yet shipped. Unpaid or already-shipped orders are skipped.
Connect Etsy to NitroMule
1. Set your ship-from address
Rates and labels need a default ship-from before you fulfill Etsy orders.
- Sign in at nitromule.com.
- Open your account (profile icon).
- Under Address Book, open Addresses.
- Add the location you ship packages from and set it as the default Ship From address.
2. Start OAuth from Stores
- In NitroMule, open Stores.
- Choose Etsy and select Connect.
- Sign in to Etsy if prompted.
- Review the permissions NitroMule requests (shop + sales/transactions) and allow access.
- When the window closes, confirm the Etsy store card shows as Connected.
Tip
If the OAuth window closes without connecting, disable pop-up blockers for nitromule.com, retry Connect, and complete the consent screen in one pass.
3. Sync orders
- On the Etsy store card, select Sync (or wait for background sync on Orders).
- Open Orders and filter to Incomplete / awaiting shipment.
- Confirm recent paid Etsy orders appear with ship-to addresses and line items.

Day-to-day workflow
- New Etsy orders land in Incomplete on the orders dashboard.
- Open an order and confirm ship-to, weight, and dimensions.
- Get rates and place the order from that order.
- Confirm tracking appears on the Etsy receipt for the buyer.
- If you need the PDF again, download — do not buy a second label first.
Important
Create labels from the imported order, not as a standalone Get Label shipment. One-off labels do not update the Etsy receipt or push tracking. See one-off vs order labels.
Troubleshooting
- Connect disabled: Server needs Etsy API credentials configured (ops).
- Address missing after Sync: In some regions Etsy withholds shipping addresses from third-party apps unless the app is an approved shipping partner. You can still complete the address in NitroMule and buy a label; tracking push may also be restricted in those cases.
- Tracking did not push: Confirm you bought the label from the imported order; open the order’s Etsy details panel for write-back errors.
- Disconnect: Use Disconnect on the Etsy card, then Connect again if needed.
